AECM, with the vision of seeing our culture strengthened, founded on good Christian principles and values, translates and promotes the word of God in the Ixil variant of Nebaj.
For more than 8 years, the translation of the old testament began with a team of translators and retro-translators. At the moment all the books of the old testament have been translated in their first draft; 26 books reviewed; 13 books in their revision phase.
The translation work is carried out in team check processes, with community and later with foreign consultants experts in exegesis.
Our desire, that the word of God be communicated in a clear, exact and natural way.
